Hello there!!
First off, Happy First Day of Spring!! Springtime is nice, getting a little warmer. I like this time most, where it's still slightly chilly and not hot yet (*doesn't like heat*).
So it's actually been about a month since I updated. I'm going to shoot for once a month instead of every two weeks. That was a bit hard of an idea to keep. If I can do an extra one, then I can be proud of myself for doing extra!!
Things are definitely getting better around here. Well, nothing's actually changing except for me, so I guess I should more correctly say that I'm getting better. Things are looking up. Hope is there again. And I'm looking forward to graduating in May and going off to college this year.
I'd like to leave one last thing before my features of this past month. We are currently in Holy Week, though the latter half of it. It's the most crucial, though, and I encourage everyone to go to their churches this weekend (especially tomorrow, Good Friday, and Sunday, Easter). Please don't take something like this for granted. Jesus' death was a sacrifice so strong for us, mere humans that definitely don't deserve it. But He still died for us, and rose again, so we should really be solemn until Sunday, when we can truly celebrate His resurrection and forgiveness of our sins.

Traditional Art
--Violin Music by EddieTheYeti
I came across this the other day just looking around at random people's galleries. Seeing a violin, I was of course interested, especially because it's so unique.
--Luke Skywalker by goshnessmaggy
Though there aren't too many deviations in her gallery yet, they are all rather great. Especially this Luke Skywalker one.
Digital Art
-- Cast your soul by EmberRoseArt
I've always been a fan of her gallery. I really like this somewhat recent one, which actually has already gotten a big positive response; its tones are nice and dark, well done. I encourage a look at her gallery too!
--FoRgoTTen MeLodY by intano
This is another really well done piece, with a violin of course. Another good gallery too.
--lugubrious by AnthonyShea
I really love the dark tones of this piece. This has a mixed tone with romanticism and sorrow.
--Fantasy Life by Na-TuraL
This deviant isn't yet popular and doesn't have too many works yet, but the talent is definitely there while his popularlity will grow quickly here. This piece is excellent in detail, great sharpness and clarity.

--Marcuria by larafairie
Though she definitely already has a great reputation, I really love her work and wanted to show one of my recent favorites. I love the silhouette type image and the colors are great.
Literature
--A Stone for Bread and Colored Pins by Drkc123
The first one is an absolutely amazing short story. I mean... it's an allegory, so be prepared when you read it to look for the symbolism. It's pretty emotional if you read it correctly. ^_^ The second one is a really well-written poem. Check them both out.

So they don't exactly go together... heh. The first is a great example of a style I really love and pincel3d is really good at this style. The second is just one of the few "First Love" series--they're all really cute. ^_^

Jack Sparrow Art (my pick)
--Captain Jack Sparrow by Fennethianell
I found this one quickly in my search, and it's an amazing likeness. Also my favorite thing in her gallery.
Portal Art (Guest Pick)
--Portal by Petitecreme
i like the way the portal painting one isn't a straight realistic image, but a quick "speedpaint" as he called it, and the smudgy nature of the single layer make it look cool (art chosen with commentary by Drkc123)
End of the second features! Not as much as last time, but yeah. I think I'll get better at this eventually! ^_^

Hello there,
I haven't been keeping up with my monthly plan of features. I'll come back to this as soon as possible and edit this one to include some features :D
In other news, it's summer, and school is out! I graduated this year, which was great. Looking forward to going off to the university now to study music education. Funfun ^_^
I also just got back from Student Life camp, which is a retreat type thing for church youth groups. Since I graduated, this was the last year I could go as a student. I had a *lot* of fun and got deeper in my faith and all that. :)
Last, I decided to open a stock account. I won't be like regularly updating i

Hello there!
I have officially made the resolution of keeping up my journal at least every other week. I hope that I am able to do this. I don't have a subscription, nor am I likely to buy one. I will probably not have one, unless I win it in a contest.
Speaking of, I have entered two contests now. I have never done that before, so both were rather exciting. I am definitely not winning the first contest, hosted by the Victoria Frances' Club. However, I was quite proud of my pieces that I entered. I also just entered the Pirate-Queen contest. I was in love with her stock during her stocking days here, and I was so excited for the opportunity
Almost Christmas
Hello there!
I realized that I'm not so good at updating my journal. Last time, it was almost Thanksgiving. Now it's almost Christmas. So here we go again. We'll update as the time changes. ^_^
I uploaded some pictures I've taken. Just doctored some of them a bit on Photoshop, not too much though. I'm happy though that's it is almost all nice and wintery now so I can make a few winter like scenes. I'm sort of scared of messing with snow, because I've noticed most people can't really make the subject look like she's actually standing *in* the snow. Which bothers me ^_^ So I've sort of been avoiding that. Oh! And I finally have a new avatar

Hello there!
So it's been a while since I updated my journal. Things are getting better now. In case you haven't noticed the turn in my graphics ^_^ No longer are they suggestive to negative things... Now they're pretty and improving :P
Comments are well appreciated right now. I'm messing around more lately, and I'm pleased with how well *most* of them are turning out!
College stuff is bogging me down... I need to fill out a bunch of apps. And my boyfriend's out of town. We've been really close lately. I got sort of mad at him last week, but things worked out, so it's even better ^_^ And Thanksgiving is tomorrow! So Happy Turkey Day everyo
